Sudanese Minister of Health Haitham Ibrahim said, in an intervention with Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath, today, Friday, that more than 600 deaths were recorded in all Sudanese hospitals, while the World Health Organization announced that 413 people were killed in Sudan and 3,551 injured.

And the Sudanese medical institutions announced that dozens of people are dying in hospitals in Sudan due to the lack of necessary equipment and electricity, noting that the bodies have been lying in the streets of Khartoum for several days.

One of the Sudanese doctors told “TASS” agency, in response to a question regarding the number of victims in hospitals due to the lack of necessary equipment: “People are dying even in their homes, because we cannot evacuate them, and it is impossible to bury them. The bodies have been stacked for three or four days,” noting that the injured are heading to hospitals due to shrapnel wounds.

The Sudanese Red Crescent called, through Al-Arabiya, to open safe paths for medical personnel to do their work.

And before that, the preliminary committee of the Sudan Doctors Syndicate said that 70% of the adjacent hospitals For areas of engagement between the army and the Rapid Support Forces stopped working.

The syndicate said that 55 basic hospitals in the capital and the states out of 78 are suspended from work, and the rest are threatened with closure due to a lack of staff, medical supplies, supplies, electricity and water.

The Syndicate stated that 4 hospitals were bombed in the city of Al-Abyad, which raises the total number of hospitals that were bombed to 13, noting that the bombing in Al-Abyad resulted in 26 deaths and 33 injuries.

The union said 19 hospitals had been forced to forcibly evacuate.

The preliminary committee also announced in a separate statement that the number of civilian casualties since the beginning of the clashes that broke out last Saturday has risen to 243 dead and 1335 injured.

The committee said in a statement that 45 of the civilians were killed yesterday, Thursday, while 128 were injured, including several unstable cases.

The statement indicated that there are a number of dead and wounded people who are not included in this list due to the difficulty of movement and access to hospitals in light of the security situation in the country.
