The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the clashes between the Sudanese army forces and the Rapid Support Forces has risen to 528 dead and 4,599 injured, since the beginning of the escalation in the middle of this month, until April 27.

And she explained in a statement, “The Federal Ministry of Health issued a report following up the events of the war conflict from 15 to 27 April 2023, in the center and the states,” noting that “relative calm in most states except for the states of West Darfur and the state of Khartoum, noting that the total number of injuries is 4,599.” One infection and 528 deaths were recorded in all hospitals in the states of Sudan.

Last Thursday, the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces announced their agreement to extend the truce that ended yesterday for an additional 72 hours, and this comes at a time when the conflict in Sudan entered its 14th day.
