Funvisis highlights on its web portal the importance of staying calm during an earthquake. In such situations, it is recommended to stay away from objects that could fall and cause damage upon impact with the ground, as well as from windows, balconies, glass doors or mirrors.

If a person is on the street, it is crucial to avoid areas near poles, wiring and structures that may collapse.

The citizen must find a safe place to take refuge, such as under a table or desk. If you do not have access to one nearby, you can take shelter against a wall, protecting your head with your arms.

Subsequently, it is advisable to evacuate the place in an orderly manner, always using the stairs and avoiding risk areas.

In addition, it is recommended to have an emergency plan at home, school and/or the workplace, which must be known by everyone involved so that it can be applied quickly in the event of an emergency.
