Munich (ots) – New episodes from Lansing: The successful series “Dahoam is Dahoam”, produced by Constantin Television on behalf of Bavarian Radio, is being extended. This means that a total of 340 new episodes of the successful BR series classic, which has been on air for 16 years, can be filmed.

Since its launch in October 2007, “Dahoam is Dahoam” has become the most successful daily early evening series in Bavaria and one of the best-known brands on BR television. Almost 3,250 episodes have been broadcast so far. In the third quarter of 2023, the market share in Bavaria was an excellent 17.3 percent. In the Free State, an average of 443,000 viewers tune in to the stories from the fictional television village of Lansing, and nationwide there are over 660,000 people. “Dahoam is Dahoam” is also a great digital success: the series was viewed more than 25 million times in the ARD media library from January to September this year alone.
BR television is the only third-party program that offers its viewers its own daily early evening series. The next week’s episodes are always available in advance on Thursdays in the ARD media library.
