Two young photographers from Tennengau have been winning apprenticeship competitions at state and national level for years.

In recent years, the young photographers Lisa Yvonne Burck and Marla Pilz have been extremely successful in federal apprenticeship competitions (the participants reported) – and this is the case again this year: Both convinced the jury with black and white photos, Pilz was able to win in the category young photographer/ secure victory on the inside, Burck took second place among the apprentices.

Bernhard Moser, the trainer for the two, was recently honored by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce with the title “Austria’s best training company” in the photography industry. In recent years, Moser has trained a total of ten photographers in his studio in Oberalm.

Much demand for photographer training

“I’m happy about the renewed success of our two parade young photographers and the award for their trainer Bernhard Moser,” says guild master Franz Neumayr. Neumayr emphasizes that the Salzburg state guild for professional photography has played a pioneering role in training and further education for years.

In addition to in-company training, WIFI Salzburg offers training to become a photo assistant (at the level of apprenticeship training) and to become a “certified professional photographer” (at master training level). “More than 100 graduates have been counted in both courses in recent years.”
