On November 18 and 19, the Lino-Ventura space was transformed for a weekend to the rhythm of video games! Among friends and family, there were many visitors to take advantage of the activities offered.

Soft lighting, freely accessible consoles, a giant circuit, virtual reality headsets… everything was in place for total immersion in the world of video games.

The two proposed tournaments (FC24 competition on PS5 organized by OMAC, and Mario Kart tournament on Switch organized by MasterClash) brought together many participants on Saturday afternoon for very close clashes. The other stands also offered prizes to be won!

The Mission Locale Paris – Vallée de la Marne attracted visitors of all ages with video games designed to develop and evaluate each person’s strengths, notably cooperation, negotiation, skill, etc.; but also with its virtual reality headsets to immerse yourself in the heart of different professions.

Want to move? No problem ! Video games are far from static. The OMAC allowed you to try or compete in Just Dance, Nintendo Switch Sports or play sports with RingFit.

As in previous years, the driving simulators and the Gran Tourismo game were a great success, thanks to the USMF (Union Sportive des Makis Franciliens). A competition designated the best driver of the weekend!

New this year: a giant Mario Kart circuit! Controlled from the consoles, the mini kart cars raced on two large circuits for games that were more real than life!

There was also innovation in the network of media libraries which offered games with reality headsets for older children, and “Draw your game” on a tablet to create your own journey.

Still in the room, three arcade machines were freely accessible with some legendary games: Street Fighter, Aladdin, Asteroids, etc.

In the hall now, the Le Ludiste Torcéen association had set up a space dedicated to board games. The opportunity to have fun together and discover some of their many game boxes.

Stands for information, understanding the dangers and knowing the solutions were also present at the entrance, aimed at young people and families.

Finally, outside, the truck from the Les Petits Débrouillards association was waiting for young and old to learn through scientific experiments.

Friday, November 17, the launch evening took place in the presence of Mayor Guillaume Le Lay-Felzine, Jérémy Martinville, municipal councilor responsible for innovation and new technologies. The guests present, including MP Hadrien Ghomi, but also the winners of the competition organized by the City, discovered the atmosphere and games available in advance.

Congratulations to the service providers, partners and everyone who made this meeting a success!
