Social Democratic trade unionists win in the AK election in Vienna, AK President Renate Anderl received 57.5 percent of the vote

Vienna (OTS) – The faction of Social Democratic Trade Unionists (FSG) in the Vienna Chamber of Labor achieved another success in the Chamber of Labor election in Vienna. With a convincing preliminary result of 57.5 percent of the votes, the team around FSG top candidate and AK President Renate Anderl confidently defended first place.

“The employees know that the FSG is always on their side. This is clearly reflected in the result,” says Erich Kniezanrek, chairman of the FSG in the AK Vienna, happily. “This success is a clear mandate to continue to do everything we can to support the employees in Vienna.”

“Unpaid overtime, unpaid holiday pay or unjustified dismissals are a reality in working life. Without the Chamber of Labor, many employees would be helpless at the mercy of these injustices. Only a strong FSG guarantees a strong chamber of workers,” says Christian Meidlinger, Chairman of the FSG Vienna.

FSG is the strongest force in Vienna

The FSG was able to successfully defend first place in Vienna. With the clear majorities for the FSG in the AK elections in Salzburg, Carinthia, Upper Austria, Lower Austria and Burgenland, this underlines the strength of the FSG as an employee representative in Austria.

FSG Vienna regional manager and campaign manager Sandro Beer would like to thank all supporters who have promoted the FSG in the past few weeks. “It’s great how committed our colleagues are to ensuring a strong voice for employees!”
