The smartphone is the most important technological object of all, but what is really important is not its looks, but the applications inside. Whether on iOS or Android, application stores offer hundreds of thousands of options, and standing out from the crowd is not easy.

I’m sorry but The first thing we have to mention is the advent of Subway Surfer. This figure amazed me: 304 million downloads in 2022, it is the most popular game, and this was already the case for 2021 – only being surpassed by Among Us in 202, due to confinement. If we compare to giants like Netflix, Youtube, Messenger or even Spotify, Subway Surfer is marching on them. So long after its release, there’s no stopping this 2010s game.
TikTok takes first place, obviously, with two other social networks completing the podium : Instagram and Facebook. The latter may seem to have gone out of fashion, but it always brings a lot of people. Telegram is still behind WhatsApp, but still exceeds 300 million. We still find four Meta applications in the top 10.
