On the 14th, CEO Lee Jun-seok, who has been in hiding following the People’s Power Central Ethics Committee disciplinary action, announced that he would continue to interact with party members.
Chairman Lee wrote on his Facebook page on the same day, “I have been talking to my party comrades who already have exchanges with me in every nook and cranny of the past few days, but I want to interact with more people.” It has been a day since he announced that he had climbed Mudeungsan Mountain in Gwangju while continuing his stealth.
He said, “We are not meeting for media exposure, so please understand that we cannot disclose all schedules as a public schedule in advance.”
In the post, CEO Lee attached a link to the information-gathering website asking for the name and phone number of the party member who wants to meet him, their residence, and whether they are a member of the People’s Power Party.
On the website, CEO Lee said, “I plan to meet and talk with party members while traveling around the area. If you simply write down your address and contact information, we will contact you in advance when you visit the area.”
Earlier, on the 12th, CEO Lee had dinner with three young politicians from the People’s Power Gwangju City Party at Dongchang-dong, Gwangju. According to the attendees, Chairman Lee encouraged them to recruit party members.
The next day, CEO Lee announced on his Facebook that he had climbed Mudeungsan Mountain in Gwangju and said, “I was preparing step by step to unravel the promises I made to Gwangju in July, but I am sorry to the citizens of Gwangju. It’s a little late, but I won’t forget it.”
