Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Minister of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat, Juan Carlos Baruja, delivered housing subsidies to beneficiaries from various parts of the country, with a total investment of G. 3,295,705,491, for the construction on their own plot and the purchase of existing housing.
During the award ceremony, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Habitat (MUVH), Baruja thanked the successful applicants for the trust placed in the Government of Paraguay.
“The Government’s goal is to ensure that every Paraguayan man and woman has decent, quality housing,” said the head of MUVH.
In total, 30 certificates for social housing subsidies were delivered, of which 25 were awarded to families in vulnerable situations and five to families made up of people with disabilities.
The beneficiary families are from Central (24 families), Paraguarí (2 families), Alto Paraná, Caaguazú, Concepción and Itapúa (1 family in each of these departments).
This type of state support allows more Paraguayan families to realize the dream of owning their own home and is another way to honor the commitment of the Government of the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, to guarantee a better quality of life for all Paraguayans.
