The US firm Consumer Reports revealed its latest study in which Subaru was the brand that makes the best cars.
In a new brand study conducted by Consumer Reportscustomers were consulted regarding the quality of the cars purchased in the US automobile market, in order to determine which car brands they make the best vehicles?.
This year the results of the surveys notably favored Subaru which was named as “The best brand”, reflecting the changes that occur when manufacturers introduce new products and the positions of the ranking they inevitably vary.
This was followed by another Japanese firm, Mazda in the second place and BMW rounding out the top 3. Local American brands were not rated as highly by the public surveyed. Tesla fell seven places and Jeep was last, at number 32.
Subaru to the lead
In addition to consulting the owners’ experience, a Driving test which is included within the items of the general score for each model, added to aspects such as: predicted reliability, customer satisfaction and security.
Subaru reached the overall score higher than 81, and 89 points as the maximum specific score in the driving test. At security aspect It is important to say that the results of the available and updated crash tests are taken into account.
Regarding what happened with the fall of Tesla in the list, the main reason was due to the yoke flywheel which was recently introduced in the Tesla Model S and the Model X, and it was “difficult to use”. As soon as Jeep, they were cited “reliability issues” with Gladiator.
