April 2022 will bring many news and events to Pokémon GOincluding a community day starring Stufful that will bring many changes to the way these encounters work.

Stufful Community Day (April 2022)
Stufful, the Tantrum Pokémon, arrives for the first time in Pokémon GO on community day on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. In addition to appearing more frequently during this period, we can find it in a ‘shiny’ version (variocolor) if we are lucky.
As you surely noticed, this community day will last only three hours, half of what it was lasting since 2020. This is a definitive change implemented by Niantic.
If we evolve Stufful during the event or up to two hours after it ends, we will get a Bewear with the Drain Fist charged attack.
- Trainer Battles: 20 damage and guaranteed to increase the user’s Defense.
- Gyms and raids: 50 damage.
Stufful Community Day Details and Bonuses at Pokémon GO
- In the store we can buy access to the exclusive Stufful Community Day special research story: A very tough stuffed animal
- Triple XP per catch
- Double chance to receive Candy ++ when catching Stufful
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Double Candy per catch
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Surprises when taking screenshots during the event
- An additional special exchange can be made during the event and two hours after it ends (maximum of 2 per day)
- Trades made during the event or two hours after it ends will require 50% less Stardust.
- If Trainers catch enough Pokémon with a single Bait, the triple XP bonus for catching Pokémon near the PokéStop with Bait will increase to quadruple XP for 30 minutes.
- There will be a special Community Day Pack that we can buy once for 850 Pokécoins and that contains 15 Ultra Balls, 15 Pinia Berries, 1 fast attack elite TM and 1 remote raid pass.
- In the Store we will find a batch of 30 Ultra Balls for free.
- You can get event stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening gifts, and purchasing them in the in-game store.
