A Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Motorcycles, Mopeds, Scooters, Bicycles and Similar (Abraciclo) carried out a survey on the production of bicycles in Brazil in the last year. In this sense, the highlight was for electric models, which had an increase in their production volume, being the only category to achieve this feat.
Overall, the increase was 5,4% in comparison with the year 2021. In this case, were produced 10.847 units once morest 10.294 of the previous year. The reason for this may have been the advantages that the electric version offers, such as lighter performance and an engine that can serve to boost pedaling or help the vehicle to move.
Even delivery apps like Rappi started using the e-bike delivery method. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that the modality is becoming more and more popular in Brazil. After all, it is a device that can bring greater comfort and fun compared to traditional models.
Even so, there are also some points to take into account, such as the amount charged for these bikes. In this sense, it is not easy to find an e-bike for less than R$ 4 milbeing that this is the price range is for the most basic versions. Cyro Gazola is CEO of Caloi and commented on this scenario:
People who opt for the pedal are looking for a healthier lifestyle that is in tune with the environment. The electric bicycle facilitates this, offering agility in displacements and comfort to overcome obstacles along the way.
