Study: oil giant ExxonMobil already knew about global warming caused by fossil fuels in the 1970s

The American oil company ExxonMobil has known since the 1970s that the use of fossil fuels leads to global warming. But despite that, the company repeatedly tried to sow public doubt regarding the harmful effects on the climate. Scientists write this in the renowned journal ‘Science’.
