Study defined the best city in the United States to migrate, what is it?

Three hours is the time that separates Medellín of the city of the United States that offers the better opportunities for migrants. This is Miami, considered the gateway for Latinos to the North American nation.

The most popular city in the state of Florida was listed as the best city for foreigners in a study carried out by the global expat community InterNationswhich has more than 4.5 million members.

When asked regarding topics such as quality of life, ease of settling in, personal finances and economic stability, 85% of foreigners living in Miami highlighted the virtues of the city as a good destination to settle, well above the 71% satisfaction expressed by migrants living in other cities that appear in the study.

Migrants residing in Miami highlighted as qualities how easy it is to adapt to local life and cultureBesides of access to job opportunities. They also highlighted facilities associated with technology such as being able to pay with means of payment other than cash.

But not everything is positive. Migrants also highlighted aspects that make it difficult for them to adapt in the so-called “City of the Sun” such as the limited supply of public transport and the high cost of medical insurance.

After Miami, which was ranked 12th in the InterNations world ranking, New York it is the second city in the United States most qualified by foreigners. “The Big Apple” appears in 16th place in the complete ranking.

The city chosen as the best in the world for foreigners is Valencia, in Spain. They followed Dubai and Mexico City in second and third place, respectively.

But just as the best cities to migrate to were highlighted, the study also published the most difficult cities for foreigners. These are: johannesburg (South Africa), Frankfurt (Germany), Paris (France), Istanbul (Turkey), Hong Kong, Milan (Italy), Vancouver (Canada), Tokyo (Japan) and Rome (Italy).
