Students and teachers from the Faculty of Food will participate in the classification for the Coppa d’Oro

For the first time, AFADHYA, the Artisanal Ice Cream and Related Manufacturers Association, with the support of the Federation of Pastry Chefs, FITHEP Centro and the MIG (International Ice Cream Show), organizes the Coppa d’Oro Argentina.

The contest will take place within the scope of the FITHEP Expoalimentaria fair scheduled from June 5 to 7, 2023 in the city of Córdoba, and will qualify for the Coppa d’Oro that will take place from November 26 to 29, 2023 in Longarone, Italy. Whoever wins will get direct classification to the final with airfare and lodging.

It should be noted that modules 3 and 4 of the Diploma in Artisanal Ice Cream Elaboration, issued jointly between the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (UNCo) and AFADHYA, will be held at the FITHEP Fair, in the city of Córdoba.

The International Award “Coppa d’Oro” was established in 1970 and is considered the Oscar of Artisanal Ice Cream: every year, ice cream masters from all over the world are invited to demonstrate their skills and creativity.

Interested parties must be of legal age, of nationality and residence in Argentine territory, and must be an ice cream maker with an ice cream parlor.
