Wrestler Ashraf Kabonga, dubbed the strongest man in the world, announced his entry into the Guinness Book of Records and his official certification as the strongest man in the world, following he succeeded in pulling the subway during the past months.

Ashraf Kabonga said in an official statement on his personal page on the social networking site Facebook that he officially received the certificate hours ago, and approved him as the strongest man in the world following pulling 220 tons, and breaking the record of champion Jordan Stephens, an Australian.

Ashraf Kabonga said, in his statement, that he handed Eng. Ali Al-Fadali, Managing Director of the Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation, a copy of the certificate, expressing his love for the facilities they provided him in training over the past months, thanking the whole team, Minister of Transport and Communications, and Eng. Khaled Sabra, Head of The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Company for the Management and Operation of the Metro and Ahmed Abdel Hadi, the official spokesperson for the authority.

Ashraf Kabonga added that he is preparing during the coming period, following returning from a trip to Saudi Arabia, to break several new records to be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records on behalf of Egypt.

He added that he is still completing his training to pull a locomotive in the Suez Canal with his teeth, only following the idea started during the past months, in addition to pulling several trailer cars with his teeth to be registered in the name of Egypt.
