Strong protest of Muslim leaders in the General Assembly session over the desecration of the Holy Quran

In the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the heads of state of Iran, Qatar and Turkey strongly protested against the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden and Denmark and demanded strict action from the international forum.

According to the World News Agency, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said that Muslim identity is being paid in Western countries. From the desecration of the Holy Quran to banning hijab in schools, we strongly condemn and the international forum should also openly condemn it.

The Iranian president said that insulting Islamic rituals is intolerable. The world can be made a place of peace only in the spirit of mutual respect. Western countries should stop insulting Quran in the name of freedom of expression.

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, addressing the meeting, said that the Holy Quran is the holy book of Allah, whose number of believers is in billions around the world. Emir of Qatar said that there was an attempt to burn the holy book, this insult hurt the hearts of the Muslim community. Such deliberate incidents in the name of freedom of expression cannot be allowed.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan said that incidents of desecration of the Holy Quran are intolerable. Those who do so are suffering from Islamophobia and racism, both of which are a threat to world peace. President Tayyip Erdogan strongly criticized the silence of Western countries on such incidents and said that all international platforms, including the United Nations, should make systematic efforts to remedy Islamophobia.
