According to the World News Agency, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said that Muslim identity is being paid in Western countries. From the desecration of the Holy Quran to banning hijab in schools, we strongly condemn and the international forum should also openly condemn it.
The Iranian president said that insulting Islamic rituals is intolerable. The world can be made a place of peace only in the spirit of mutual respect. Western countries should stop insulting Quran in the name of freedom of expression.
Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, addressing the meeting, said that the Holy Quran is the holy book of Allah, whose number of believers is in billions around the world. Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan said that incidents of desecration of the Holy Quran are intolerable. Those who do so are suffering from Islamophobia and racism, both of which are a threat to world peace. President Tayyip Erdogan strongly criticized the silence of Western countries on such incidents and said that all international platforms, including the United Nations, should make systematic efforts to remedy Islamophobia.
