Strong participation in the second round of the ADMIE “IPTO TALENT” program

The application process for the second round of the program has been successfully completed “IPTO Talent» announced by the Independent Electricity Transmission Operator (ADMIE) to attract young scientists with zero to minimal work experience.

Over 580 applications were collected during the program’s application period (October 17 to November 8), six times more than the previous round of IPTO Talent.

As can be seen from the first processing of the applications, the interest in participating in “IPTO Talent” was strong from both men and women, with the percentages of candidates reaching 55% and 45% respectively.

The strong participation in the second round of “IPTO Talent” proves the great interest of the country’s new scientific staff in the projects carried out by ADMIE, with the aim of the energy transition of the country and the wider region. With an investment program of 5.7 billion euros over a ten-year horizon, the Administrator is going to continue the human resource attraction program that is its driving force, for the implementation of these large projects.

With the aim of ensuring the transparency and integrity of the process, an independent specialist consultant has already started the evaluation of CVs by conducting online tests and conducting individual interviews to select the most suitable candidates. The candidates who will proceed to the next phase will be evaluated by competent officials of the General Directorates of the ADMIE.

The top 20 will join the Manager’s human resources with a salaried full-time relationship lasting one year, and will work on various projects implemented by the company in Attica, gaining significant knowledge and experience. The projects are indicatively related to the development of applications & information systems, data analysis, the study, design and construction of energy infrastructures, energy market regulatory issues, financial analyses, and data protection of business privacy and GDPR. The 20 successful candidates will receive training and guidance from experienced ADMIE staff, and will then join the teams that will undertake the implementation of the respective new projects.
