Al-Marsad newspaper: The pioneers of social media circulated a video clip documenting the moment a young man was hit by a strong lightning strike in the Wadi Jazan Dam.
The video showed that the young man was stopping to photograph the rain in the Jazan Valley dam, but he was soon overtaken by a strong lightning strike.
The video did not show what happened to the young man or his health following being struck by lightning.
The National Center of Meteorology expected thunderstorms from medium to heavy, leading to the flow of valleys and torrents, accompanied by active winds that raise dust and dust, and showers of hail over areas in the kingdom.
