No less than 67 models out of the 250 presented to the public are green hydrogen, hybrid or totally electric.
It is for this reason in particular that many visitors were present at the convention center for the event on Saturday.
“The rest doesn’t really interest me,” said one of them.
“We came mainly to see the electrified systems, shares another visitor. There are many offers. I’m on my third hybrid car and there [je pense m’en acheter] an electric one.
Despite strong consumer interest, delivery times remain very long for several electric models.
It takes between 12 and 24 months for many of them to be delivered.
“People are often discouraged and turn to gasoline-powered cars,” says regional director of the Association of Electric Vehicles of Quebec, Didier Ernotte.
In the meantime, those interested can visit the Montreal Auto Show until January 29.
