A strong explosion that quickly led to a raging fire and landslide of a house caused the tragic death of a Metrogas operator while another is injured with severe burns. Both were working on a gas leak at the home of Devoted Villa.
The event occurred following 12 in a house located in Pedro Morán and Quevedo, where two operators from the Metrogas company were working due to a gas leak.
For unknown reasons, there was a loud bang that caused the collapse of the house on the ground floor and first floor located in that place and the two vehicle fire who were stationed in the area.

“We have found a fatal victim and we are removing rubble in search of other possible victims. We have no information that there were more people in the place, but we continue searching by protocol“he told the channel C5N Commissioner Berardi, in charge of the operation.
On the other hand, the head of the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAME) Alberto Crescentihad earlier assured the agency telam that “one of the workers, around 40 years old, was transferred to the Zubizarreta hospital, where he is in hospitalized in serious condition“.
In addition, the director of SAME had confirmed that the whereregardings of the other worker were unknown and whether there were other people inside the property, so it was expected that City Firefighters might extinguish the fire.
For this, some seven units of the Same moved to the place, along with personnel from the K9 Unit of the City Fire Department, to search for people, and personnel from the Guardia de Auxilio to the place.
