This Saturday marks the 11th day of mobilization once morest the pension reform in which the garbage collectors have obviously not finished participating.
As they learned on Tuesday, the garbage collectors and cleaning agents of the City of Paris have started a strike which will last “at least until March 20”. The Minister of the Interior had also been forced to ask the town hall of Paris to requisition garbage collectors to deal with the accumulation of waste.
This Saturday, the Parisian town hall mentioned “stabilization” of the volume of uncollected waste in the capital, which now stands at 10,000 tonnes. It therefore announces that “five dump truck garages have resumed activity” and “two treatment concession companies as well as several agents (have) been required since Friday”.
The images of the piles of garbage cans strewing the streets of Paris are no less impressive.
According to some Internet users, we even saw soldiers picking up trash.
