Yes. A little while ago, around 4:10 pm, the labor and management of a subcontractor of Daewoo Shipbuilding announced the news of the conclusion of the negotiations.
It is the first 51 days of strike by subcontractor workers.
The union said, “I have mixed feelings,” and said, “There should never be a life-threatening struggle once more.”
The company said, “Thanks to the public interest, a provisional agreement has been prepared.”
The main contents of the tentative agreement were first agreed on a 4.5% wage increase suggested by the management, and in terms of job security, it was an agreement in principle to maintain employment succession for workers in closed businesses.
The issue of litigation for damages once morest strikers was not settled.
The union seriously discussed the civil and criminal immunity rights as a task that should be discussed in good faith in the future, and stated that union members should not be harmed.
Labor and management continued to negotiate the marathon, repeating adjournment and continuation from 8 am, but when a tentative agreement was prepared, the union streamlined the union member approval process and agreed to it.
The union said it would hold a vote in favor of or once morest the provisional agreement and hold an official meeting if it is passed.
If the negotiations are finalized today, the union members who are occupied at the ship building site will also be lifted following 31 days.
