Despite the paralysis of a sector of cargo carriers in various parts of the country, the entry of more than 9,000 tons of food was reported to the Great Wholesale Market of Lima (GMML) and the No. 2 Fruit Market of La Victoria, as reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri).
In the GMML, the entry of 7,724 tons of food was registered, a volume lower by 19.2% compared to the four previous Fridays. Only in potatoes, the entry of 2,480 tons of the Andean tuber was reported, a lower figure of 13.9% in relation to last Fridays.
