Striate+ membranes are expertly processed to remove all traces of DNA and immunogenic contaminants to create a favorable environment for rapid regeneration of high-quality bone and soft tissue.
Non-cross-linked acellular type I collagen does not induce an abnormal inflammatory response1 The bilayer membrane adapts easily to bone surfaces A dense barrier layer prevents infiltration of gingival cells while allowing the passage of bioactive molecules and proteins The bioactive chamber allows early integration of bone-forming cells and provides a favorable environment for osteogenesis How it works
Striate+™ has a two-layer structure composed of a rough and smooth side. The smooth side of Striate+™ is placed toward the oral cavity to prevent gingival soft tissue from growing into the defect space during bone healing. The rough side, placed facing the defect, provides a favorable environment for bone growth. Striate+™ remains in situ long enough for bone regeneration to occur before being resorbed into surrounding tissues, and a second procedure to remove the membrane is not necessary.
1. The barrier membrane prevents the infiltration of gingival cells and allows the passage of bioactive molecules and proteins
2. Porous network of collagen fibers promotes cell attachment and proliferation
3. Bioactive chamber supports new bone and membrane integration at the repair site Applications involved immediate extraction sites delayed extraction sites graft confinement bone defects guided bone regeneration guided tissue regeneration periodontal defects
