According to the decision, the National Committee for AIDS, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control was consolidated on the basis of the National Committee for AIDS Prevention and Control and the Prevention and Control of Evils. drugProstitution was established under Decision No. 61/2000/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister and consolidated under Decision No. 50/2007/QD-TTg, Decision No. 2083/QD-TTg and Decision No. 1968 /QD-TTg.
The National Committee is an inter-sectoral coordination organization with the function of assisting the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating the prevention and control of AIDS, drugs and prostitution.
Tasks and powers of the National Committee

Ministry of Health is the Standing Agency in the field of AIDS prevention and control of the National Committee.
