THROUGHOUT the first three months of 2024, integrated heavy equipment provider, PT Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (KOBEX), recorded revenue of Rp531.94 billion, up 1.30% compared to last year’s achievement of Rp525.11 billion. This growth was supported by the sales performance of the Company’s business segments.
Sales of heavy equipment units (mining and non-mining) were the largest contributor to consolidated revenue. The segment contributed 64.91% of total sales in the first quarter of 2024. This figure is lower than last year’s contribution of 69.93%.
This indicates a growth in contributions from segments outside of unit sales. In the first three months of 2024, KOBEX posted heavy equipment unit sales of Rp345.29 billion, down 5.97% compared to 2023 of Rp367.19 billion.
The second largest revenue contribution came from the spare parts sales segment with a contribution of 19.15%. Until the end of March 2024, this segment posted revenue of IDR101.85 billion, jumping 47.30% compared to last year’s IDR69.14 billion. This achievement made this segment experience the highest growth increase compared to others.
The second largest growing business segment following the spare parts sales segment is rental. This segment recorded double-digit growth, namely 19% to Rp32.49 billion. Previously Rp27.30 billion.
Meanwhile, the mining repair and contractor services segment posted revenue of Rp52.31 billion, down 14.90% from last year’s Rp61.47 billion. This segment contributed 9.83% or the third largest, to consolidated revenue in the third quarter of 2024.

Previously, in 2019, KOBE had also supplied 3 units of Powerboss Armadillo 9X to the cement factory.
