In an important message to Egyptian families, the Ministry of Health sent a message to parents to strengthen children’s immunity and preserve it from infection with the respiratory syncytial virus, noting that strengthening the child’s immunity protects him from infection with the syncytial virus.
In its message, which it published on its official page on the social networking site Facebook, the Ministry of Health said: Strengthen your child’s immunity and encourage him to drink fluids and eat vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins, to reduce the chances of him being infected with the respiratory syncytial virus, by drinking fluids and eating foods that raise immunity and eating fruits. which contain Vitamin C.

Global health scientists said that the respiratory syncytial virus is a group of mucosal viruses that can cause, in some cases, severe infections in the respiratory system, which infiltrate the respiratory system in children and adults.
And the Ministry of Health and Population had said earlier that the respiratory syncytial virus will not only infect children, but also infects different ages, as the respiratory syncytial virus infects children under two years, and the respiratory syncytial virus infects those who are three years and older.
The ministry stated that the respiratory syncytial virus can infect adults as well.
Symptoms of respiratory syncytial virus
The respiratory syncytial virus includes many symptoms that appear on the infected person, as its symptoms are very similar to the common cold and appear on the infected person 4 to 5 days following infection, namely: dry cough, mild fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, and sneezing.
