If we already knew the bulk of the roster of the next Street Fighter, Capcom has just formalized all the fighters with a trailer full of muscles. Literally.

Capcom takes advantage of the Tokyo Game Show to reveal as many details as possible regarding its next headlining game, the famous Street Fighter 6. A few days ago, the publisher presented a long video detailing the different game modesincluding the brand new Extreme Battle, games in which victory depends on rules that change with each game. Today, Capcom is simply sharing a promotional trailer that should serve as the opening cinematic for the World Tour mode.
Entitled “Le Sens de la Force”, this video allows you to see all the characters on the roster at the launch of the game with some artwork. As a reminder, the cast of this new opus had leaked earlier in the year. This time, Capcom officially confirms the arrival of Luke, Jamie, Manon, Kimberly, Marisa, Lily, JP, Juri, Dee Jay, Cammy, Ryu, E. Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Chun-Li, Zangief and Dhalsim. It should be noted the absence of certain characters yet present in the leaks. Here, we can see the “launch” roster, as Capcom specifies. We imagine then that certain characters will have to be unlocked in the game, like Akuma for example, while others should arrive in the form of DLC.
Soon playable in beta
Despite these numerous presentations, Street Fighter should not be released before 2023, on a precise date still undetermined. Nevertheless, Capcom should already offer a preview to the most impatient players with a closed beta for which it is possible to register. just here. If you are drawn, you will have the chance to test the game in preview from October 7 to 10. If the game is announced on PS4 and Xbox One, note that the beta is reserved for PC, Xbox Series and PS5 players.
