According to the data presented by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, 42% of the reform project planned for this year has already been completed, while the Minister of State, Akis Skertsos, who is coordinating the effort, estimates that by the end of December all milestones will have been implemented.

Specifically, 29 reforms and 25 important public investments have already been implemented. The reforms span 5 levels and are related to “productive Greece”, “fair Greece”, “social”, “green-digital” and “strong defense”.

According to information, in the axis of social Greece, the most important of the new reform and investment actions that will be launched in the near future include the improvement of the effectiveness of granted benefits, the reform of KEPA – Digital KEPA, the framework for inclusive education, the full operation of the structure hospitality in Lesvos, measures to combat bullying, interventions for social compensation, the platform for managing cultural events in cultural spaces and museums, the rationalization of the surgery planning system. Also in the same category are: Overdue hospital debts, reorganization of EOPYY, EOF, EKAPY, DRG’s, new Theageneio, the operation of “safe houses” for the accommodation of women victims of domestic violence, measures to combat violence against minors.
Special emphasis will be given to actions for the axis of productive Greece where it is planned: Upgrade and expansion of the e-Consumer platform, reorganization of the EFET, reform of the food control system, establishment of a Primary Sector Observatory, the strategy for employment (utilization of P.S. data .ERGANI), the restructuring of the Superfund, an electronic system for the life cycle of the ship, a new classification system for hotels based on sustainable development principles, the restoration of accessibility after the devastating effects of the “Daniel” storm – signing of contracts, implementation of a comprehensive plan for sustainable micromobility.

In the axis of green and digital Greece, actions have been planned such as: Implementation of the Thessaly Masterplan, water management strategy. Establishment of a Decarbonisation Fund, institutional framework for Repower EU, personal Citizen Number, evaluation of beach use control results – myCoast pilot application, implementation of green data centers.
In the axis of fair Greece, the aim is to implement measures that foresee: Reform of the Code of Civil Procedure – Institutional framework for auctions and sales of “red” loans, reorganization of the Fund for Financing Court Buildings (TACHDIK), implementation of legislation on pledge. Also among the government’s first priorities is the Disciplinary Law of public servants. as well as the Artificial Intelligence System for Government recruitment.

A special chapter of goals and measures concerns the axis of strong Greece. According to the same sources, the most important of the actions being launched are: n Establishment of a Greek Center for Defense Innovation in application of Law 5110/2024, n Implementation of a Housing Program for the personnel of the Armed Forces, mainly in border and critical areas. Interventions are also expected for land workers – redeployment of workers, the implementation of a new institutional framework for State Aid is underway, while it is planned to immediately implement a National Disaster Risk Management Plan.

According to information, the ministers have received clear instructions to speed up the government work as, as pointed out in the Maximos Palace, not a single minute of wasted time is allowed.
