The study was carried out by EPSI Norway and examines customer satisfaction with TV distribution and streaming services in Norway.
It shows that customers are generally more satisfied with the streaming services than with the TV distributors.
– The streaming services have raised the standard for what customers expect from entertainment, both in terms of content selection and ease of use, says Fredrik Høst, general manager of EPSI Norway.
Among the streaming services, Netflix stands out with the highest customer satisfaction. They pass NRK, which topped the list last year.
At the bottom is Viaplay, which ends up just behind Discovery+ and Prime Video. According to the survey, it is the prices in particular that lead to dissatisfaction among Viaplay customers.
– Viaplay has a lot of good content and is good at sports, but they need to work on the price structure if they want to become a more popular and preferred streaming service, says Sindre Brochmann, senior business developer at EPSI.
Of the TV suppliers, Altibox tops the list, while Allente ends up at the bottom.
The lower satisfaction with TV distributors is due, among other things, to customers feeling that they have access to channels they do not use, writes EPSI.
