From the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace in Caracas, the Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, reported that preventive strategies are being fine-tuned to strengthen the Plan for Attention to Rains, due to the passage of tropical waves in the territory of Venezuela in the coming days.

In this regard, Ceballos stressed that the officials of the National Risk Management System (SNGR) are coordinated in order to address any eventuality in the country, according to a NDP.

The Admiral in Chief stressed that as part of the public policy of citizen security carried out by the Venezuelan State, prevention exercises are carried out through simulations once morest possible hydrometeorological events during this period in order to guarantee the well-being of the Venezuelan people.

He also pointed out that the Venezuelan Observatory of Citizen Security (OVS) is an official body that collects, manages and analyzes information related to this matter, which reflects the decrease in crimes in the territory.

He stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and citizen security forces are actively coordinating and carrying out prevention operations in the country’s communities.
