With a return of -10.11%, 2022 goes down in history as the second worst year for investment since the creation of the Credit Suisse Pension Fund Index, with all investment categories having generated a negative return. . Fortunately, the pension funds were in a relatively strong position before achieving this result: at the end of 2021, the average degree of coverage was 118.5% (source: CHS), the value fluctuation reserves were mostly amply fed and provisions had been made.
