His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, witnessed the signing of a strategic agreement between the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone (Foz), and the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat).
The agreement was signed by Engineer Ali Qasim, Director General of the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, Captain Salem Al Afkham, Director General of the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone (Foz), and Dr. Rahma bin Mohammed Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Retail Sales Department at the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah stressed the importance of strategic partnerships in promoting sustainable development goals and achieving integration in the work system of industrial facilities in the Emirate of Fujairah to advance and develop the oil, gas and energy sector, and enhance its work levels towards the best outputs.
His Highness pointed out the support and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for major development projects that support the strategic objectives of the Fujairah Plan and its transformations in the most important vital sectors in the next stage, and keep pace with the state’s vision and future directions in the energy, industry and investment sector, which supports… Its indicators are in global competitiveness reports in these sectors.

The agreement aims to launch the first phase of the project to connect and extend the gas network to industrial facilities operating in the Emirate of Fujairah, with the aim of enhancing the adoption of natural gas in the industrial, trade and energy sectors in the emirate.
