was booed by a section of the PSV crowd on Saturday night. When the defender came on as a substitute against RKC Waalwijk, whistles were heard in the Philips Stadium. Even when he got the ball afterwards, dissatisfied supporters could be heard. Another section of the fans sided with Teze.
When Teze warmed up, most of the supporters in Eindhoven were still clapping. However, there were also cautious whistles from the stands. “The majority are clapping. A few are a little less enthusiastic,” said commentator Mark van Rijswijk of ESPN op.

When Teze entered the field in the 69th minute, as one of four substitutes, the boos and whistles were more audible. “A somewhat more emphatic whistle concert, now that Teze’s shirt number is being held up,” said Van Rijswijk. Then, whistles were heard when the ball was touched, although another part of the audience responded by clapping.
In the run-up to the match, Teze was the most talked about player of PSV. The right back is aiming for a transfer to AS Monaco and had informed his trainer not wanting to play against RKC. There he came back to it later. Teze was put on the bench by trainer Peter Bosz against RKC.
