The pre-sale of the Apple Vision Pro started today (19) and it is now possible to try the headset in an Apple Store. To increase the hype, the company also released several videos revealing details regarding the virtual reality glasses; one of them showing how it is manufactured. Watch below:
The production video shows how the glass and metal of the structure are cut, assembled and the band that secures the headset to the user’s head is made. Obviously not all the secrets are revealed, but it’s interesting to see some of the Vision Pro’s internals.
The second video released by Apple is an almost 10-minute guided tour showing what it’s like to use the Vision Pro for the first time.
In it we see how it will be possible to control the device’s virtual screen, which may be strange at first, but minimal gestures are enough to guarantee an immersive experience viewing photos, videos and watching series on Apple TV Plus.
However, it is important to remember that not all of the most popular applications will be available for the Vision Pro. This is the case of YouTube, Spotify and Netflix, which can only be accessed through the immersive version of Safari for the virtual reality glasses.
The Apple Vision Pro will be launched on February 2, 2024 in the United States for up to US$3,899 or the equivalent of almost R$20,000 in direct conversion without considering additional fees and taxes. There is no forecast of availability for Brazil.
