The Ministry of Environment (MARN) announced on Tuesday that a new storm is expected to begin next Friday, which will bring heavy rains to El Salvador.
“A storm will begin on Friday and might last until Sunday morning, due to the influence of a tropical wave with development potential,” the entity announced in its X profile.
Recently, the country experienced intense storm-type rains due to a low pressure that formed in the Gulf of Mexico, which left more than 15 dead and caused structural damage in different parts of the country.
⛈️ For the rest of this week we will continue with rain and storms due to the passage of Tropical Waves and the approach of the Intertropical Convergence Zone. During Friday a storm will begin that might last until Sunday morning, due to the influence of a Tropical Wave… pic.twitter.com/u7Mg2JLILH
