According to the Ziersdorf fire brigade, it was not possible to say on request whether it was actually a tornado, as media reports said. The storm damaged the roofs of three houses, and in one case the emergency services had to temporarily seal it with a tarpaulin.
A telephone line was also ruined and debris had to be removed from the train tracks, a representative of the Ziersdorf fire brigade said. Just a few days ago, a tornado passed through the Horn district and caused considerable property damage. Nobody was injured.
