At least Three people have died this Friday from falling trees due to the strong winds of Storm Eunicewhich is leaving extensive damage, disruption to road traffic and flight cancellations in its wake through the Netherlands.
The gales, which have reached up to 145 kilometers per hour in some regions of the country, have knocked down a tree in the south of Amsterdam on a passer-bywho died in hospital from the severity of his injuries, as confirmed by the city’s fire department.
The second death has also occurred in Amsterdam, where a tree fell on a cyclist causing his immediate death.

Red alert in all provinces
