Stomp lowers the curtain on Broadway

After 29 years of representation, Stomp will lower the curtain at the Orpheum Theater in New York. On the day of its closing, the show will have given more than 11,000 performances.

Co-creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas explain: “We are very proud that the Orpheum Theater has hosted our show for all this time. We would like to thank the troupe but also the entire theater team who made this success possible. “.

Stomp is a show featuring a group of 8 percussionists who create (with a lot of humor!) music from everyday objects such as lighters, garbage cans, etc. Without traditional narration, betting everything on rhythm and mimes, this show fascinates and captivates with its energy and dynamism.

The American and European tour of the show continues. Stomp is actually on display at La Cigale in Paris.
