A violent accident ending in a rollover occurred Monday morning on Highway 30 in the ramp to Highway 20 East.
A police pursuit having degenerated would potentially be at the origin of the event.
According to information obtained by TVA Nouvelles, the damaged vehicle was stolen in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu during the night, around 4 a.m.
The police would have chased him first on Highway 10, then the pursuit would have resumed on Highway 30 East.
According to what our journalist Audrey Folliot was able to observe on the spot, the person driving the stolen vehicle would then have mowed down a lamp post before finishing his race on the roof, in the access ramp to Highway 20 East.
