People’s Party calls for moderation
Vienna (OTS) – “It’s time to end the constant war of words, exaggerations and escalations for headlines and to come to our senses. Politicians shouldn’t use phrases like ‘pre-Fascistoid’ just to get on the front page. This will not lead the country into a successful future. I deeply disagree with the picture that has been drawn over the past few days. Because mutual respect is indispensable in a democracy, you have to act and communicate with each other respectfully and at eye level. This is particularly expected of personalities who are in the public eye. Let’s return to substantive politics together and leave these underhanded heckling behind us,” says the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker.
