Minister of Finance naturally adheres to the legal regulations
Vienna (OTS) – “The allegation by SPÖ mandatary Kai Jan Kainer is completely useless. Of course, the finance minister adheres to the legal regulations. With the abolition of cold progression, the federal government has taken a historic step. This project has often been promised, but never kept under an SPÖ chancellorship. It was foreseeable that the SPÖ would try to artificially damage this success, but it is a sign of inadequacy for a party that once held state power,” says the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker.
“Fact is: The progression report was submitted to the Treasury Department by July 31 – that is what the law stipulates. With the public presentation of the report, it is then also submitted to the National Council. Finance Minister Magnus Brunner has without a doubt complied with all the laws,” Stocker continues and finally emphasizes: “Kai Jan Krainer’s methods are well known: For years, Krainer has been making politics with advertisements in order to damage the political competitor. This kind of politics does not help the people of our country, the abolition of cold progression does. We will therefore not let the SPÖ stop us from standing by the side of the people.”
