Zadić ‘dasschlogt’ complaint from the Vienna public prosecutor’s office once morest the release of climate activist
Vienna (OTS) – “There is an urgent need for clarification regarding the allegedly ideologically motivated intervention through an instruction from Justice Minister Alma Zadić. As can be seen from a report by the APA and also reported by ‘Der Standard’, Justice Minister Zadić ‘denounced’ the Vienna public prosecutor’s complaint once morest the release of a climate activist. After Christian Pilnacek stated in the U-Committee that Alma Zadić had influenced his proceedings by giving instructions not to stop the proceedings once morest him, this is now the next case of presumably political intervention. The public deserves an answer to the question of how many instructions come from the Justice Department. Therefore, Zadić must finally submit the still outstanding instruction reports for 2021 and 2022. While Justice Minister Zadić repeatedly emphasizes that she wants the judiciary to investigate independently, in reality she applies double standards. The question arises as to why the judiciary was unable to independently investigate this case and was given instructions to ‘dismiss’ the complaint,” explains the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, referring to current media reports.
