What does the FPÖ want to hide? – Did they want to put their own people in position and prevent deserving and highly qualified police officers?
Vienna (OTS) – “Why is the FPÖ making hectic attempts to justify itself on Easter Sunday? What is she trying to hide? Did the FPÖ want to position its people here and eliminate deserving and highly qualified police officers?” asks the general secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, and adds: “It also remains questionable what contacts FPÖ officials have with the suspected Russian spy Egisto Ott had. As can be learned from media reports, Ott also maintained contact with top officials of the FPÖ during his time in the BVT. Above all, the role of the FPÖ needs to be clarified – the BVT was ultimately destroyed under Herbert Kickl. The chats that recently became known in the media prove it once more: As Interior Minister, Kickl once once more put Austria’s security at risk. It remains clear to us: Kickl is a security risk for Austria!”
