* SANOFI SASY.PA announced on Monday the acquisition of the American biotechnology company Provention Bio PRVB.O for 25 dollars per share, a cash transaction of 2.9 billion dollars.
* INNATE PHARMA IPH.PA announced Monday that it is not financially exposed to the American bank SVB Financial Group SIVB.O which operates under the name Silicon Valley Bank (SVB).
* HSBC Holdings HSBA.L will buy the UK subsidiary of SVB Bank, Sky News reported on Monday, adding that an announcement from the UK Finance Ministry is imminent.
* Car manufacturers STELLANTIS STLAM.PA, STLAM.MI and MERCEDES-BENZ MBGn.DE as well as TOTALENERGIES TTEF.PA announced on Friday, through their joint venture Automotive Cells Company (ACC), that battery production should begin in 2026 at their plant in Termoli, Italy.
* Novartis NOVN.S officially launched its new share buyback program on Monday for a maximum amount of 10 billion Swiss francs (11.08 billion euros) for the next three years.
* DEUTSCHE POST DPWGn.DE said on Saturday it had reached a pay deal with the Verdi union to avoid an indefinite strike in the German postal service.
