* BNP PARIBAS BNPP.PA on Tuesday reported results below expectations in the fourth quarter but raised several financial targets for 2025.
* TOTALENERGIES TTEF.PA – Shipments of petroleum products from the energy company’s sites in France are interrupted on Tuesday due to the strike once morest the government’s pension reform project, the group said.
* SCOR SCOR.PA – The reinsurer Scor announced on Tuesday a 12.1% drop over one year in reinsurance premiums as part of the annual renewal of contracts carried out on January 1, 2023.
* TECHNICOLOR CREATIVE STUDIOS TCHCS.PA announced on Tuesday the appointment with immediate effect of Caroline Parot as interim general manager, notably in charge of accelerating the group’s transformation. The visual effects specialist has also decided to withdraw its forecasts for this year and said it anticipates a strong rebound in 2024 and a return to normalized profitability in 2025.
* HERMÈS INTERNATIONAL HRMS.PA on Monday urged a US jury in a trial to rule that Mason Rothschild, creator of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) “MetaBirkins”, infringed on his trademark on Birkin bags, while the American artist’s lawyers ruled the controversial images to be art.
* BP BP.L on Tuesday reported a record profit of 27.6 billion dollars (25.7 billion euros) in 2022, amid soaring energy prices since the invasion of the Ukraine by Russia. The British group will also raise the dividend paid to shareholders by 10%.
* CARLSBERG CARLb.CO – The Danish brewer reported fourth-quarter sales slightly below expectations on Tuesday and expects organic operating profit growth in 2023 to be lower than last year.
* SIEMENS ENERGY ENR1n.DE on Tuesday reported a net loss that more than doubled for the first quarter, due to charges at SIEMENS GAMESA wind turbine subsidiary SGREN.MC related to quality issues, which the German group is trying to to resolve via a total takeover of the Spanish company.
* BAYER BAYGn.DE – Activist investor Jeff Ubben has contacted the German group’s other shareholders to seek their support for major changes at the company, investors and sources familiar with the matter told Archyde.com.
* HOLCIM announced on Tuesday the acquisition of the American roofing specialist Duro-Last for an amount of 1.29 billion dollars (1.2 billion euros).
