The recent uptrend in the market seems to have lost momentum as the market fell this week. The BRVM Composite Index closed at 240.18 points, down 0.47%. As for the other two major indices, they also fell today, with the BRVM 30 falling to 120.19 points, down 0.50%, and the BRVM Prestige falling to 110.60 points, down 0.24%.
Among gainers, VIVO ENERGY CI (SHEC) rose 7.41% to 870 FCFA, SODE CI (SDCC) gained 2.78% to 5,550 FCFA and BANK OF AFRICA NG (BOAN) added 2.76% to 5,395 FCFA.
Conversely, the biggest losers of the session were UNILEVEL CI (UNLC), which fell 7.46% to 6,015 FCFA, BERNABE CI (BNBC), which fell 6.94% to 1,005 FCFA, and UNIWAX CI (UNXC), which fell 4.65% to 410 FCFA.
SONATEL SN (SNTS) and ONATEL BF (ONTBF) attracted market attention today with trading volumes of 112,438,070 FCFA and 87,140,740 FCFA respectively.
