The total trading volume in January reached over 9.2 billion shares, equivalent to 167,907 billion dong, also down 48% in volume and 46% in value respectively compared to December 2022. .
In the first month of 2023, foreign investors had a quite active trading month with a total transaction value of over VND 34,344 billion, accounting for more than 10.2% of the total transaction value in the whole market. Higher than the previous month, foreign investors made a net purchase of more than 2,702 billion dong in January 2023.
By the end of January 31, 2023, on HoSE, there were 504 listed securities codes, including 403 stock codes, 3 closed-end fund certificates, 11 ETF certificates and 87 covered warrant codes. The total volume of listed shares reached over 141.49 billion shares. The listed market capitalization reached more than VND 4.43 million billion, an increase of nearly 10.4% compared to the previous month, accounting for more than 94.2% of the total market capitalization and equivalent to 46.6% of GDP. 2022 (GDP at current prices).
